Level:<\/strong> Moderate to Severe<br><strong>Primary Effect:<\/strong> Converts voluntary behavior into presumed responsibility through repetition, expectation, or social pressure<br><strong>Preferred Incantation:<\/strong> \u201cI thought you were handling it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nobody remembers the hiring process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meet <strong>The Manufactured Obligation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Field Identification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Manufactured Obligation appears when repeated voluntary action quietly transforms into expected responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then help again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&#8217;re the person who does that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If someone repeatedly does something, we begin associating the task with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She organizes birthdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She remembers appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He fixes things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She handles paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He calms everyone down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nothing sinister is it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eventually:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Competence becomes workload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reliability becomes availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Generosity becomes assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Family Technician<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You once helped someone set up their phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Years later:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Televisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p Obligation because commitment and morality can become intertwined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you stop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who will do it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nobody else will<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">does not automatically mean:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Therefore you must.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes an class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stopping looks like failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A job can become real long before anyone acknowledges that it exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Manufactured Obligation and The Emotional notices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Manufactured Obligation and The Courtesy Trap<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Someone asks again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You want to say no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&#8217;ve always helped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refusing now feels rude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Courtesy Trap closes the class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or perhaps reliability itself has been transformed into permanent obligation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Loyalty Test makes resignation feel like betrayal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Manufactured Obligation and The Peacekeeper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If refusing the role creates tension, Peacekeeper may continue performing it simply to avoid disruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone remains comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Peacekeeper becomes increasingly exhausted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system concludes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
