class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before phones, someone often had to physically reach you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now urgency can appear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Manufactured Deadline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cI need an answer now.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opportunity closes in ten minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Legitimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or perhaps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person dislikes uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That discomfort may be real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But their discomfort with waiting does not automatically create your deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Relationship Emergency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cWe need to talk right now.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some conversations genuinely cannot wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But if one person is exhausted, flooded, at work, driving, or otherwise unable to engage well, immediate conversation may produce worse results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cI will talk about this. I can&#8217;t do it well right now. Let&#8217;s talk at seven.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not necessarily avoidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes scheduling is regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Argument Emergency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conflict class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Understanding decreases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But stopping feels dangerous because unfinished conflict itself feels like emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You know what to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eventually other people&#8217;s lack of preparation becomes structurally dependent on your competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why plan?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competent person will catch it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is how capability can accidentally recruit more chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Borrowed Emergency and The Ghost Job<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You become the person who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remembers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fixes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Responds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prevents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rescues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nobody formally assigned the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But everyone knows who to call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ghost Job supplies the class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You want to say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But your nervous system asks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Am I allowed to make them wait?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Permission Slip appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now urgency and authority combine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Very effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 now.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why are you apologizing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe because you genuinely wish you could help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
