class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>As above, so below.<br>As within, so without.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It sounds mystical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can also be incredibly practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Look at your life for a moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not to judge it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What keeps happening?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What kinds of people keep finding their way into your orbit?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What situations keep making you react the same way?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you keep avoiding?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you keep reaching for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes the world outside you is carrying information about the world inside you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not because the universe is punishing you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not because you manifested every bad thing that ever happened to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life is far too complicated for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But because you participate in the world you inhabit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your expectations affect your behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your behavior affects other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other people respond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their response affects you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And suddenly a pattern has become a world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the spell:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Look for the pattern before you blame the mirror.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If every conversation feels like a battle, perhaps there is something worth examining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are constantly waiting for abandonment, notice what you do while waiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you expect people to lie, notice how carefully you watch them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you believe nobody can be trusted, notice what happens when someone tries to get close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mirror doesn&#8217;t necessarily show you the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It shows you something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That distinction matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can look into a dirty mirror and see yourself without seeing yourself clearly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your perception has fingerprints all over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is why the spell must be used gently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t turn it into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Everything bad that happens to me is my fault.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is not wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes people hurt you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes systems fail you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes the storm simply arrives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A mirror is not a judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is an instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use it to notice yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Watch what happens when you change something small inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Become a little less defensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does the conversation change?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Become more honest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does the relationship change?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stop rushing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does the world suddenly seem less urgent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does your perception of the entire day change?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is where the magic gets interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don&#8217;t always have to rearrange the entire world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you change the person who is looking at it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And suddenly the same world contains different possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The room hasn&#8217;t changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which means your relationship with the room has changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that changes what happens next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the deeper meaning of correspondence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not that the universe is a vending machine for your thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not that every tragedy is something you secretly requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is simpler than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The inner and outer worlds are constantly informing one another.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your thoughts become choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choices become actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actions become habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Habits become environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Environments become experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Experiences become thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Round and round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A little machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A little mirror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A little spell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So tonight, look at one recurring pattern in your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t fix it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t explain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t defend it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is this showing me about the way I am meeting the world?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may not like the answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose of a mirror was never to flatter you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was to help you see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cast the spell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>As within, so without.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
