The Lantern Beside the Path

If you found this, maybe you needed a moment.

Maybe the world has been loud.

Maybe you have been carrying things nobody else can see.

Maybe you have smiled, answered questions, gone through the motions, and still felt like some part of you was walking alone through a very large forest.

So let me leave this here:

You are not the only person who has felt this.

There are countless travelers walking through the night, each carrying their own invisible weight. Some are strong today. Some are tired today. Some are finding their way back after being lost for a long time.

All of them are human.

All of them are worthy of kindness.

And right now, for this small moment, imagine a warm light beside the path.

No demands.

No judgment.

No need to explain yourself.

Just a quiet place to sit.

You do not have to have everything figured out tonight.

You do not have to become someone else before you are worthy of care.

You are allowed to be a work in progress.

A seed does not apologize for being underground.
A caterpillar does not feel behind because it has not become a butterfly yet.
A forest does not rush a tree into growing.

Growth has its seasons.

Rest has its seasons.

Healing has its seasons.

If you are tired, rest.

If you are lost, look for the next small step.

If you are hurting, remember that even the smallest flame still pushes back the darkness.

And if nobody has told you today:

I am glad you are here.

Your story is still being written.

Your path is still unfolding.

There are still places you have not seen, people you have not met, songs you have not heard, and moments of beauty waiting beyond the bend.

Take this little lantern with you.

Not because you cannot walk alone.

But because everyone deserves a little light while they do.
